Informercial, Explainer Video
Project Overview
In the Bayer Living with Heart Failure project, Furuse Studio was tasked with creating four infomercials that addressed key aspects of heart failure, including management, side effects, and polypharmacy. The goal was to deliver essential information in an easily understandable and visually engaging format, focusing on educating viewers about the nuances, symptoms, and effective solutions related to heart failure.
Our team collaborated closely with other studios to develop storyboards and assets, including characters and environments. We selected a color palette designed to evoke empathy and urgency while adhering to Bayer’s brand guidelines. Clear typography was employed to ensure that statistics and key messages were easily readable.
Furuse Studio’s role included blocking animations for videos 3 and 4, as well as animating selected scenes. We experimented with 3D animations while maintaining a 2D aesthetic by adjusting textures, materials, and lighting, successfully integrating these elements into the project.
Challenge
One of the challenges we faced was effectively communicating asset requirements for rigging and animations to artists unfamiliar with the process. We overcame this through clear explanations of the production process and continuous communication, leading to a successful collaboration.
Results
Ultimately, the infomercials effectively conveyed complex information in a manner that was both easy to understand and visually compelling. Bayer reported increased awareness and found that the visuals made it easier to educate individuals affected by heart failure and their families.
